Multilingualism is great!

Since mid-2022, the Academy for Intercultural Education & Social Affairs gGmbH has been implementing the “Multilingualism is great!” program. In this program, children learn their native language. The Kindersprachbrücke Jena e.V. (Children’s Language Bridge Jena) coordinates this program. The following courses take place at our school:

• Arabic courses for beginners
• Arabic courses for advanced learners
• Arabic courses for children with higher language levels
• Arabic online courses for children who cannot attend a face-to-face course

Some children can already speak their language well, but need more practice in writing. Other children may only be able to write in German, but not in Arabic or Russian. In the courses, the children continue where they are now. They learn, improve, and consolidate their language. This also includes engaging with the culture of their home country. They also learn that their first language can be very useful to them and is very important for their personality.
