Professional integration
Professional integration and participation
Vocational integration involves issues such as promoting German language skills as a basic prerequisite for good training/good work, identifying vocational skills, providing information on training and labor market opportunities, and competent advice that can point out a feasible path to the goals and wishes of those seeking advice. This also includes comprehensive knowledge of current legislation and funding opportunities that regulate or support access to training and the labor market. Furthermore, legal residence issues must also be clarified and suitable measures found to help meet the requirements for training and work.

Professional orientation
What should I become? What should I work as, how should I earn my money? Which decision is the right one? The opportunities and offers in the world of work in Germany are diverse. Sometimes confusing. We will help you to find your way around so that you can find your way to the career you want.
Vocational orientation is an individual development process in which our participants can define a professional field (e.g. the nursing professions) or a specific profession (e.g. nurse) as a goal. On the one hand, this is about acquiring skills and, on the other, about developing one’s own personality. Answers must be found to the following questions:
- What are your interests and wishes?
- What does the individual’s life plan look like? What goal does the participant want to achieve?
- What expectations are placed on the profession or training occupation?
- What educational, physical and social requirements are met?
- What skills and deficits does the participant have?
- What local and regional opportunities does the labor and training market offer?
Our participants use career profiles, information pages, advisory services, open days and internships in this process. Experience reports from successful members of the respective target group – as an app, podcast/videocast or interactive interview – also support career orientation.
Placement in training and studies
We advise and place you in training and studies. In order for us to do anything for you, you will need an “activation and placement voucher” (AVGS for short) from your local job center. If you would like to improve your future prospects by training or studying, please speak directly to your contact person at the job center. As soon as you have received your AVGS voucher, you can use our contact options and take part in our AVGS measures. To do this, you must present your AVGS voucher at your first personal meeting with us.
