Individual job application coaching
Individual Academy for Intercultural Education & Social Affairs gGmbH offers the individual measure “Individual job application coaching”, acc. § 45 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 SGB III Introduction to the training and labor market as well as identification, reduction and elimination of placement barriers.
Objective
The main aim of the measure is to introduce the participant to the training or labor market and thus promote sustainable integration into training or work in the long term. Participants should be enabled to independently apply for jobs on the training and job market. To this end, they learn how to use common job search portals. They are helped to create professional application documents. Classic application situations are discussed and acted out with the participants. Participants receive individual and success-oriented support during the application process. Unemployment is thus reduced, ended or avoided altogether in the future. A core element of the measure is the teaching of German language skills for the application process and the job.
Further objectives of the individual measure
- Dealing with existing (multiple) problems and finding solutions
- Introduction to everyday training and working life
- Sensitization and activation for company qualification offers
- Raising awareness of regional and national training and job opportunities
- Increasing motivation and changing perspectives
- Strengthening personal initiative, willingness to learn and work attitude
- Enabling professional experience through internships
Target group
The target group of the measure are those seeking training, those at risk of unemployment and the unemployed. The offer is aimed in particular at people with a migration background whose individual circumstances are not compatible with the training or labor market.
The participants have language barriers that have made access to the training and employment market difficult to date. The program is also aimed at participants with poor reading and writing skills. The target group includes participants of all language levels.
The measure helps participants who have identified existing personal and other barriers to placement in the previous application process or when taking advantage of other support offers. The participants are people who (among other things) face specific challenges when looking for an apprenticeship or job due to their migration background.
